Anyway, the text transcripts have been released (yes, these scumbags were texting each other leading up to the murder). If you want to read it, I’ve posted it below, but be warned. This is seriously fucked up shit that make your skin crawl  (the naughty words were edited in the transcript I found).

So the Daily Star in the UK ran a story yesterday talking about snooker players betting on themselves to lose. This comes on the heels of the bribery scandal where Scot Higgins allgedly got paid to take a dive. Seriously, is this even newsworthy? Dumping is a time honored tradition in this game. This is the whole reason why Vegas refuses to make a book on any billiards events. Its way too easy to dump and/or fix. Don’t tell me you’ve never heard of a pool player dumping or offering to chop the purse prior to entering the finals of an event. You can find the article here if you want to read it.

For the record, this isn’t the only game that gets its fix on. Same thing happens in tennis and we’ve all heard the boxing stories (which might explain why no one gives two shits about boxing anymore and MMA is the rage).
