The billiards industry might be small compared to other sports and hobbies, but there’s quite a bit of stuff to talk about. Considering the number of people who make a living playing this game and the myriad of cues, cases and accessories that are available, it seems like someone should talk about it. I originally built this blog to talk about pool cues and billiards equipment as well as other tidbits that I consider “newsworthy” but lately it seems like I’m doing more industry and news stuff and less reviews. I’m in the process of moving the pool cue reviews over to a second blog which I’ve naturally titled PoolCueReview.com, so if you’re only looking for product reviews, you might want to check it out.
Since it seems to be of interest to my reader(s), I play with a 5280 ELE06 cue with a Predator 314 Shaft. I know its a little like putting perfume on a pig, but what are ya gonna do? I can’t afford a spendy cue and all the performance is in the shaft anyway, so there you have it.
