John Schmidt Keepin’ It Classy

I'm A Straight Up Wannabeville Hustler, Yo!
John Schmidt. “Mr. 400″. Player representative for OB Cues. Sometimes he gets upset when people are critical of him or his opinions. When that happens, he forgets that what he says (or d0es) reflects poorly on his sponsor. This was the case the other day on the AZ Billiards forums where he got into it with some posters. His final post on the forums went a little something like this (in all its unedited glory):
“all you losers that live with your mommies ,who couldnt get laid if i sent you too an island full of swine flu victims with the h1n1 vaccine in your dick, who have a shoe size bigger than their high run in 14.1,who say they will be pro in 2 years even though after 15 years are still an apa 5 ,can all eat shit.im done with wannabeville.im only speaking too 1 percent on here but you know who you are.”
Now knowing the company that OB Cues likes to keep, I wouldn’t be even remotely surprised if they were fine with John Schmidt’s rant. The irony of course is that the thread is titled “What does it take to become a champion”.
For the record, I’ll state right here that I have no aspirations to be anything more than a recreational pool player so therefore cannot be called a resident of “wannabeville”. As for Mr. 400, he is a shining beacon of light for the billiards industry. Of course that shining beacon is a locomotive that just ran off the rails, further mangling the already craptacular reputation of the billiards industry, but a shining beacon nonetheless. OB Cues should be proud to have him as a player rep.
Word.

AZ Forums seems to get everyone in trouble! It’s a necessary evil I guess
John Schmidt is a player with a little personality, and very willing to converse intelligently about pool. We need more like him. I don’t know all the details, and the response would probably be edited if he had a chance, but I would bet he was provoked. OB Shafts should just stand pat. Who else can run 400 balls? Thorston? Oliver? A pretty small crowd. Don’t forget all the good John has one for the game.
