Trick Shots Are So Damn Lame!!
Ok, was flipping the channels at halftime and apparently Trick Shot Magic is on ESPN. Oh my freaking god. So lame!! First of all, there were about 30 people in the audience. Come on. This thing was apparently held in Las Vegas on the strip where you have nothing but drunk people with time and money. Even so, the attendance was literally like 1 row of people surrounding the “arena” (which I’m pretty sure was the ESPN Zone restaurant). Then you’ve got these absurd shots that take so much explanation that none of the 30 people even know when the shot is being made correctly.
Seriously, this crap is just plain awful. How many freaking times do you have to do a variation of a shot where you’ve got a ball on top of a bottle and you shoot the cue ball off the rail. After they miss (which Eric Yow and some other guy were doing quite often), the audience is still clapping. I swear its even worse than having the goddamn audience clapping after every shot at the WPBA (thanks Tipton).
Anyhoo, halftime is over so I’m gonna watch me some more of the football.
