Its Time To Crown Her Ass

Three wins this year including the WPBA Tour Championships. It seems our lovely Ms. Ouschan is finally all growed up. This is exactly who we thought Jasmin would be. She tore through the entire field, pounding pretty much everyone into submission. The only exception was a narrower than it should have been 9-7 win over Janet Atwell in the 2nd round and of course the semis match against Jeanette Lee.
Once she made it to the redraw, she really got her game on. 9-1 over Tamara Rademakers, 9-5 over Allison Fisher, a 7-6 nail biter with J-Thug and then she whomped Xiaoting Pan 7-2 to win the title.
So it seems that even though I was right about the implosion of Monica Webb’s career, I was wrong about not listing Jasmin Ouschan amongst the truly world class players in the WPBA. Its time to take the tiara and put it on the head of the 23 year old Austrian that seems hell bent on pwning the WPBA. What’s interesting of course is that even though she won 3 titles to Ga Young Kim’s 2 titles, Ga Young should hang on to the #1 spot as a result of her consistently strong play throughout the year. My math may be wrong, but it looks like we’ll finish GYK at #1, Jasmin at #2 and Xiaoting Pan at #3. Regardless, it was a really good year for Jasmin Ouschan and yes, I am ready to crown her ass.

With Jazz it seems like the best is still yet to come. So I don’t think we have seen it all yet.
I have a feeling that Jasmin is about to become every WPBAer’s worst nightmare. I’ve always felt like she’d own the WPBA if she could just keep her focus. Its looking like her game is finally maturing. Great for the WPBA (and the ratings), horrible for the other 63 ladies on the tour.
