Billiards Hottie Profile – Alison Fischer
Yeah, I know. I’m crushing on another foxy, petite, stylish brunette. If anything, I am predictable, but can you blame me?
So here’s what you need to know about “The Other” Alison Fischer. Hailing from NYC via Wausau Wisconsin, Alison started playing pool as a kid in her basement. By the time she was 15 she was entering bar box tournaments and joined the BCA leagues at 18. She’s got a slew of amatuer titles under her belt and is now working her way through the regional tours.

If the face looks familiar, its because she’s part of the infamous NYC Hottie Mafia. Along with Gail Glazebrook, Borana Andoni, Emily Duddy, Olga Gashkova and Michele Li, Alison’s BCA team “Kiss of Death” rolled the competition a couple months ago proving to the world that stylish, hip hotties not only play pool but kick some ass in the process.

When she’s not breaking hearts at the table, you’ll find Alison writing, shooting pictures and taking care of the editorial needs at the very cool NYC Grind site, which I totally dig by the way. In addition to having some of the best reporting on the NYC pool scene, they also help people living in the city find some sweet underground, up and coming musicians and artists. I know next time I’m in NYC, I’ll be letting the Grind be my guide.

Ally “The Leash” Fischer. Cute story — In Vegas, Ally did her best to juggle being a KOD girl and an NYC Grind reporter … often times KOD couldn’t find Miss Ally anywhere, sooooo Olga concurred that we needed to get her a leash so that she’d stop getting lost! LOL
A great choice Mr. PCN — Ally is a sweetheart and a ferocious competitor. Michele actually named her “The Quiet Storm” for her seemingly timid personality at first that is quickly converted to OutWARD chaos when provoked.
