WPBA San Diego Classic – Foxy Friday
I swear, there are so many hotties that are still in this event, I don’t even know what to do with myself.
First off, Sarah Rousey. This is a very different Sarah Rousey than we saw a year ago. She is absolutely crushing everyone in her path. Last night, she drilled Gerda Hofstatter 9-4, so she’s in for the redraw. I know I have issues being impartial when it comes to my favorite little munchkin, but seriously its just a matter of time before she’s giving a victory interview with a big trophy and a $12,000ish check.
Then there’s the hella sexy Asian ladies. Xiaoting Pan and Yu Ram Cha. Yeah, I’m a gaijin with an Asian fetish. Its not like I ever said I’m not anything more than a walking cliche. Anyway, Yu Ram won a 9-8 thriller against Vivian Villareal and Xiaoting Pan took down Melissa Herndon, so they’re both in the redraw too.
Still lots of cuties alive in the losers bracket as well. This morning, another sexy Asian in Ga Young Kim will take on Vivian Villareal and Jasmin Ouschan (who shook off whatever was messing with her in her first match) will take on Brittany Bryant. In the two matches that turn the hottie dial to 11, there’s Cristina “I’m not really engaged” De La Garza vs. Nicole Keeney and Rachael Abbink vs. the only lady who can make a pool glove look good, the crushtastic Liz Ford.
In the hotties who hate me division, J-Thug Jeanette Lee is playing exceptionally solid pool and cruised into the redraw. Jennifer Barretta got knocked out by Tamara Rademakers and Supadra Nosenseofhumorpasook was a quick two and out (oh wait, I already mentioned that the other day). On another note, while I was watching the stream last night, I saw Olga “I’m A Serious Pool Player Who Loves Me Some Bananas” Gashkova chattering away. Sure, she’s not in the tournament (and likely won’t ever be in a WPBA event), but we are talking about hotties who hate me and the girl is both superhot and really, really doesn’t like me, so…
Don’t forget to tune into the WPBA stream this morning, because at 11AM Cali time, we’ve got the battle of the blonds with Brittany Bryant (who we hope will be wearing a nicer top than she wore against Allison Fisher) going up against Jasmin “I’ll smile when I’ve won this damn tournament” Ouschan.
Baretta did a class act – when sinking the final 9 Rademakers got up to shake hands but whitey was still in motion and went into a pocket. Since the handshake could have been construed as Rademakers throwing in the towel , Baretta could have called for a ruling but she accepted the roll as defeat. Rademakers is a foxy looking chick but she is apparently married. See her site and she keeps the blog up to date as some WPBA members don’t bother to do this. (how about that Line Kjoesvik, etc,)
