WPBA Class of 2009
Its what you’ve all been waiting for… the WPBA has updated their site to include Senior Portraits for the Class of 2009. Out with the green backdrops, in with the gray! Sorry, I’m trying to find some good news to report on the WPBA since its all been so crappy as of late.
As always, there are some changes to the roster. Some new faces like the Iris Ranola, the always foxy Heather Pulford-Lloyd and that adorable kid Brittany Bryant. And then there are the desperate pleas for attention (which I’m no stranger to by the way), by listing the likes of Rachel Abbink and Jennifer Barretta on the roster even though they played in two events between the two of them and Jennifer has pubilcly stated that she’s out of pro pool. Wouldn’t it make more sense to feature some up and comers on the site instead of people who quit on the tour? Hell, if you’re going to list players that don’t actually play on the tour, why not throw Shanelle Loraine up there? Sure, she can’t run a rack, but its just mezmorizing watching her try.
In other news, it looks like there were a couple name changes. Loree Jon Jones is now Loree Jon Hasson (off the market) and Megan Minerich is now Megan Smith (on the market). Also, there are a couple of pretty interesting shots on the profiles. Anna Kostanian looking much foxier and less like Diana Troi, Sarah Rousey once again with her eyes open (yay!!) and Line Kjorsvik looking a combination of startled, amused and confused. And then there are the things that never change. Jasmin Ouschan, more scowley than ever along with Ewa Laurence and Xiaoting Pan who seem to always just exude class and beauty.
