Here are your brackets for the Round of 16
First Bracket
Monica Webb vs. Janet Atwell
Allison Fisher vs. Sarah Rousey
Second Bracket
Ga Young Kim vs. Vivian Villarreal
Gerda Hofstatter vs. Xiaoting Pan
Third Bracket
Line Kjorsvik vs. Karen Corr
Iris Ranola vs. Kim Shaw
Fourth Bracket
Anna Kostanian vs. Yu Ram Cha
Jeanette Lee vs. Kelly Fisher
Honestly, Allison Fisher looks like she’s got the easiest path to the Final Four, but I’m still calling a Ga Young Kim win for this event.

Half of the morning matches have wrapped up, giving us 4 more names for the redraw.
Karen Corr 9 vs. Ewa Laurance 4
Kelly Fisher 9 vs. Dawn Hopkins 3
Vivian Villarreal 9 vs. Kim White 4
Sarah Rousey 9 vs. Megan Minerich 7
In the afternoon session Yu Ram Cha, Kim Shaw and Janet Atwell all steamrolled their opponents. XTP is currently putting the finishing touches on her match against Melissa Little.
As for predictions on the winner, I’m going with Ga Young Kim on this one, but of course I’m rooting for Rousey.

Ok, half of the final draw have been set with Jeanette Lee, Line Kjorsvik, Anna Kostanian, Iris Ranola, Ga Young Kim, Gerda Hofstatter, Allison Fisher and Monica Webb all making it through on the winner’s side. On the PCN Crush Watch, Sarah Rousey lost a heartbreaker 9-8 to Brit Brit, so she’s got Megan Minerich this morning to get through in order to reach the redraw. Liz got drilled going two and out and new crush Heather Lloyd got knocked out 9-7 by Minerich.
There are a few names conspicuous by their abscence this weekend, most notably Jasmin Ouschan and Sarah Ellerby. Jasmin decided to skip the WPBA event in order to play in a men’s event. Personally, I don’t quite understand why the WPBA is letting her do this. Its one thing to play in non-WPBA tournaments, but it is something entirely different to skip a tournament in order to play in a non-sanctioned event. I doubt there will be any punishment for this, but I’ll peel through the handbook anyway to see if there should be… you know how I like to cause trouble.
