Oh APA, You So Craaazy!

If you’re one of the 250,000 or so people who play in the APA, at one point or another I’m sure you’ve heard a story about a team getting their name banned by the APA bigwigs. Now granted, I’m probably not the best person to ask, having scored a 29% on the purity test, but still, doesn’t it seem like some of the banned names are a little ridiculous? Sure, I get why they banned names like “Hide Your Daughters”, all the chronic and 4:20 references and the 8,000 different variations that have to do with pokin’ and strokin’, but what’s wrong with names like “Chicks N Sticks” or my personal favorite, “Spray and Pray” since that pretty much sums up how I play pool.
So, in honor of the recently concluded APA Nationals and the APA earning the distinction of being the first person on MySpace to officially reject me as a friend, I give you the APA Banned Team List.
