Well, if you want to see the ice queen stumble through an interview on Fox Business, you can check it out here. Just click on The Color of Money video. She goes through the process of saying she’s making six figures on pool (bullshit) and that pool is getting huge due to poker (more bullshit).
She even goes into her one hustling story where she bilks some old dude out of his cash. She felt really bad about it. I so don’t get the appeal of this chick. She’s not hot, she’s not a good pool player and she’s a clumsy, stiff interview. Hell, does she even play on the tour anymore? Having met her on a couple of occasions, I can also attest to the fact that she’s not exactly “fan friendly” either. Kudos to her for pimping her sponsors though. At least she’s taking care of business.
Play the Barretta drinking game while you watch the interview and take a shot every time she says “umm”. There’s no faster way to get shitfaced in under five minutes.

Did not get to see it but I would probably agree with u, as u tell it like it is and give credit where credit is due (Shane’s work with the kids) although she does play ok - as she did start out late playing pool - keep up the good reporting!

I think perhaps you may have mistaken the comments in the video. I mean come on, with the cheese coming out of that announcer’s mouth you’ll probably say anything.
She didn’t say that “pool is getting big DUE to poker” but rather she says networks are giving it more attention as a result of the success of the televisation of poker because it is seen by many as “related”
ALso, you say “she is not hot” and you know thats bs.
Is she a little fake? yes. Is she “an ice queen” ? perhaps. But at least she’s out there trying to promote.

Ok, so I wouldn’t kick her out of bed, but there are a lot of hotter chicas playing pool nowadays. I do have a real problem with her being a “spokesperson” for the industry, since she’s not all that strong of a player and she doesn’t really play anymore (and she clearly can’t give a good interview).
I’m not a Jeanette fan, but at least she’s visible. I can’t remember the last time (if ever) I saw Barretta in a TV round. I have no problems with her wanting to be a mom, but hopefully the WPBA will make her earn her way back on the tour instead of just giving it to her because she’s got a rockin’ bod. If that was the case, Shanelle should’ve been granted a tour card a long time ago.
