Five Things That Should Be In Every Pool Player’s Bag
February 25th, 2007 by poolcuereview
Ok, I’m assuming now that you already have a pool cue and a case, because if you don’t, I’m not sure you can really consider yourself a pool player. With that in mind, here are five items that you should always, always have in your bag. Each of these items is an absolute billiards essential:
1. Tip Pik to make sure you don’t miscue
2. Q-Wiz to keep your shaft clean
3. Altoids - Because after a pack of smokes, a pitcher of beer and a plate of wings, anyone’s breath will smell like ass
4. Master Chalk - Unless you want to be a bum and scrounge for half-used cubes around the pool hall
5. iPod - Something to keep you entertained during the down time (which there’s plenty of) while you’re waiting for your next game. If you’re too cheap to buy an iPod, go get yourself a book or a deck of cards.
Now there’s plenty of other stuff you’ll need like shaft cleaners, training tools, extensions, replacement tips, and the list goes on and on. These though, are the things you should always, always have in your bag whenever you head to the pool hall.
